MySpace kegger busted in Asheville
MySpace.com ad leads to alcohol charges for teens, adults:
Two undercover agents of the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement office busted a kegger in Asheville after the party was advertised on MySpace. In what was probably a MySpace bulletin the party was advertised as having a $5 cover for all the beer you could drink. Two “adults” were busted for the sale and possession of alcohol without a permit and aiding and abetting underage drinking. Seven youngsters were charge with underage drinking. Law enforcement found out about the party when someone faxed a copy of the invite to them.
More sage advice from your Ol’ Uncle Trench. If you’re holding a kegger and your legal but your patrons aren’t, you will take the fall alone.

Every year at graduation time there is a surge of stories like this one. I expect to see many more of these, along with clueless parents that proclaim “I know they will drink. I just want them to do it with supervision!”
