Police use MySpace to capture killer
Suspected murderer located via MySpace.com:
29 year old Gary Dale Myers was first arrested back in March 2005 for allegedly stabbing his roommate to death with a samurai sword.
The Sheriff’s department originally let Myers go because of a lack of DNA evidence.
However, a detective from Maryland recently posed as a woman on the social networking site MySpace.com to contact Myers.
After a series of daily contacts last month, police say Myers revealed his phone number and it was tracked to Lehi, Utah.
Myers was arrested by Utah Sheriff’s Deputies and is awaiting extradition to California.
If you’re on the run from police remember to use MySpace at every chance you get.
