Facebook gun pic causes trouble for OU student
OU Student Finds Trouble On Facebook:
Some people still do not get it that nothing is private on the internet. A female student ay Oklahoma University posted a picture of herself posing with a pellet gun while driving on her Facebook. Of course by looking at the picture you can’t tell it’s just a pellet gun. Someone reported it to OU police, police investigated, determined it was a pellet gun and no charges were filed.
In typical college fashion the student in question feels the whole situation was overblown. I’m surprised she didn’t call the police fascists.

It can even extend to what you would think of as rational people, too. In one discussion board about radio, the owner of the board dismissed any suggestion that an employer would be looking at Myspace pages of potential DJs as “paranoia.” Silly man.
