Dillon Cossey’s MySpace

by Trench on October 12th, 2007

Dillon Cossey is the 14-year-old boy who was arrested outside of Philly for planning a school shooting against Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.

This is his infamous MySpace where he claims the gunmen from the North Hollywood Shootout and the Columbine killers as his heroes.

Take a look before it gets pulled. Would someone please make a copy of it before it does.

UPDATE: The MySpace was deleted. A mirror can be found here.

Thanks to Belch for making the original mirror.

Wonderful! Yeah would you be saying that as he is running through your school shooting all of your friends? Doubt it. The kid is sick, and it seems he is beyond help.

Strange how if it actualy transpired then it would be such a tragedy and how didnt anybody know and see the signs…but since his diabolical plan was foiled, gotta love the people who vouch for him as a good citizen, who wasnt really going to follow through. He had an arsenal and a sick plan which included recruiting, sounds like we averted one w/ this wacko..

I second that…don’t get me wrong, I’m sorry he was picked on, but there are plenty (myself included) who had to deal w/it @ that age and didn’t turn into the second coming of Timothy McVeigh (given how his YT page is decorated, not to mention the anti-government fringe lunatics who were giving him kudos on said page, who knows just what made this guy tick?).

I don’t think there is one person out there who can honestly say they have never been picked on one way or another. Maybe some more than others, but thats no reason to want/plan to kill people. The kid seems to be messed up in the head. Who knows maybe he wanted some attention.

You can’t have a mirror of a deleted page or site. You can only mirror a live thing. You just have a copy.

Funny how we now can go to jail for thoughts, I was brought up beleaving that one had to be caught in the act, and as far as I know it is not against the law to own firearms in our country. so when you really think about it (and I know its hard for most of you) he’s in jail for a thought he put on paper and the internet, whats next we out people in jail for speaking out on things like this and against the Goverment, oh we allready do

  • Trench
    Nov 12, 2007 at 3:09 pm

No, he’s in jail because he tried to recruit another into his plot. That’s conspiracy. But thanks for playing.

Yeah, really…oh, the AP report says that Cossey and the Finnish kid talked about Columbine and that they may have recruited others to participate, which police are looking into.

BTW, Cossey’s YT page has since been suspended, no doubt leaving a trail of disenfranchised young paramilatists with nowhere to rant against the government.

As a teacher, I want to say that my heart breaks for Dillon. There are some children who have the inner strength to deal with bullies and teasing and taunting; some can’t and it’s those kids we have to watch. If you see someone being bullied, be bigger person and step up and stop it. It has to end somewhere. The evil people who shot up Columbine were sociopaths, there was no hope for them. This boy didn’t have that look when they were showing on the news. Yes, he may be “messed up” in the head, as you put it. But that just means that he needs therapy and to work on self esteem. His mother is the criminal, as are most parents of children who they let get to this point. It’s sad and we all have to learn to get along and be kind to one another. One kind act will lead to many more. Take care of one another.

    Hello, Diane,

I am a teacher too, but my heart doesn’t break for Dillon. My heart bounces for the people he will not kill, they, my children, yours, have now to be cared of FIRST. His mother is the criminal, that’s a fact but it does not JUST mean he needs therapy. It first means he was dangerous.
He will get therapy for sure, but I require that the shrinks, the judges, the governor, the president engage personnal responsibility on 100% curing of his deviance. That all those people, I mean, the people who have the power to let Dillon walk in the street where you are shopping, get killed if he kills someone, just to check if they will take the risk.

Pfft… I live in southamerica, we have enought problems, and we don’t try to kill everybody because of that.

  • Ice
    Nov 14, 2007 at 10:56 am

uhhh whats the point of that comment? EVERYONE has problems, not just people in S. America. That has nothing to do with this kid.

  • Gennaro
    Nov 15, 2007 at 12:45 pm

Ha, yeh Ice thought the exact same thing, no clue wtf he was sayin…

  • khargrar

Casero is just giving a (good) exemple of people who have problems but who do not use them as a pretext to become a SK (or even to plan it).

Blaming everything on problems that wrongdoers have and trasferring the guilt to people who allegedely caused them is the usual and so dangerous drift of our society that we witness everyday.

  • Gennaro
    Nov 16, 2007 at 1:28 pm

Khargrar…hope i pronounced that right. Your comment w/ regards to Casero was just simply rhetoric to me. Think youre over analyzing something thats not there. Caseros remarks are that of a simpleton and irrelevant to the case @ hand. All you did was perpetuate his incoherent babble, thnx.

  • khargrar
    Nov 20, 2007 at 10:27 am

He said nothing much diffrent from what ChuckD and Ice say in the 8th and 9th posts on this page : “bla bla bla is no reason to get into killing people”. It is not incoherent, and he doesn’t suggest that Sth Americans are the only ones who have problems, like Ice seems to have undestood…

My second paragraph is not about analyzing casero’s testimony. It’s some additional comment to Diane’s up there. On other forums, I read some more “poor kid, he’s the victim, let him out, we’re all guilty”-bullshit, and maybe, yes, I’m spreading my comments to fight this kind of mentality.

    pfft.

    Casero is BSing so HARD.

“we have enought problems, and we don’t try to kill everybody because of that.”

You mean like the Brazilian Death Squads, corruption, jail system, Columbian deaths, etc….

    Oh, Dillon was a martyr

  • Trench
    Dec 2, 2007 at 1:07 pm

If by martyr you mean dumbass then yeah.

  • Chuck D.
    Dec 2, 2007 at 9:17 pm

Yeah, really…a martyr in the same way Timothy McVeigh, David Koresh, or Randy Weaver was… they were all anti-government fringe lunatics, too.

McVeigh, Koresh, Weaver, etc. while arguably loons could all be said to know where they stood. I don’t think Cossey’s really in their company. He was, rather is, a messed up kid. Lot of harsh words from the D.A. and the judge over a “plan” that was all talk and daydream. I doubt he’ll remain in the system past his 18th birthday. This was a non event.
