Police: 2 Teens Sexually Assaulted After Meeting Men On MySpace:
19-year-old Juan Carlos Coello and 18-year-old Julio Guambana were arrested in New Haven, Conn. on various charges of sexual assault among others. Police are saying that they assaulted two girls ages 16 and 17, that they met on MySpace.
Police said the 16- and 17-year-old girls chatted with the men for a few weeks online before agreeing to meet them Sunday evening at a friend’s home near Lighthouse Road.
Police said this is just another example that reinforces the danger of meeting people on the Internet.
You think? I can’t say this enough times. CALLING ALL PARENTS: Check your kids’ MySpaces and internet habits. Their lives may depend on it.
