Oregon school assistant arrested
Teacher Arrested After Alleged MySpace Posts:
Follow closely with me on this one.
39-year-old school assistant Jan Gleaves was arrested for disturbing messages on her son’s MySpace.
The son didn’t threaten the school or anything like that but the article doesn’t specify exactly what happened except to say that Ms. Gleaves was arrested on charges of sex abuse and giving alcohol to a minor and that some of the victims do belong to St. Helens High School where Ms. Gleaves worked.
I can probably guess what the crimes were. I’m just glad she didn’t run off with her victims to Mexico.

perhaps if small town cops who jump on every chance to make the day a little more exciting didn’t pay so much attention to paranoid meth head freak parents who don’t even have a clue what there kids are really doing, and the media actually waited till there were CHARGES filed, instead of just allegations from a juvenille deliquent before they smear someones name all over the place, we would live in a better world.

People who work with kids, and maybe especially if they work with emotionally disturbed or troubled kids, know to never be alone with them. Kids never ever go to an educators or clinician’s house. If a kid found out where I live and showed up at my door, I’d talk to them on the stoop, find out how I could help, call a parent, guardian or authorities, and report it to my supervisor at work the next day, in writing. Those kids are not our social group, their not peer friends, they’re our sacred trust, our charges.
Allegations used as a weapon are a small, ever present threat. Kids do not always make good decisions, often act out the drama of their intense feelings. If we care about them and want to serve them well, we protect them from hurting us as they lash out in pain.

Sorry PPl. But it looks like it more true than not. Leaving messages on a kids myspace page. It show me anyways that she was trying to act liek a kid when she was an adult or should’ve been an adult.
