MySpace used in NM burglary
Police Say MySpace Friendship Leads To Theft:
18-year-old Dean Blake Anderson of Albuquerque is accused of using MySpace to befriend a 16-year-old girl and then rob her house of eight rifles.
Court documents said she gave Anderson the security code to the gated community and left the door open.
The document then says she fell asleep and did not know if Anderson was ever there or not.
Police have recovered seven of the eight rifles.
All the money in the world doesn’t fix stupid.

Wow MySpace used in burglary. We should ban MySpace, cell phones, cars, crow bars, and anything else used in burglaries. I have heard about sex offenders cruising around schools offering candy to children — we should ban cars and candy. Doesn’t the hair across your ass extend to cars, candy and telephones.
Seriously, before the web and cell phones, no parent would let their kid tie up the telephone talking for hours to other kids they knew. Now kids sit for hours in their rooms in front of computers talking to any stranger who can type English.
