Signs, signs, every other Thursday the signs
MySpace Profile Lands Man Unusual Sentence:
That dashing gentleman to your right who is rocking the mullet is one 19-year-old Austin Bean of Nashville, TN. Lat year he was arrested on charges of burglary and coercion of a witness.
The judge who was ruling on his case must have seen Bean’s MySpace that contained an insult towards cops among other things. Bean’s MySpace definitely influenced the judge in sentencing.
Every other Thursday, for the next two years, he must stand outside the courthouse, rain or shine, and hold a sign that reads, “Respect the police. They are not pigs as stated on my MySpace page”
The other side reads, “There is nothing funny about guns and nothing cool about gangs.”
But there is something really funny about this.
If Bean doesn’t show up for one of his sign sessions he could get two years behind bars.
This would almost be worth a road trip to Nashville on some Thursday.
