California man arrested in sex sting

Corning man apprehended in MySpace sex sting:
32-year-old Benjamin Dennis of Corning, California was arrested for trying to solicit sex from a 13-year-old over the internet. Except that the 13-year-old was actually an investigator from the Tehama County district attorney’s office.

The fake 13-year-old even has its own MySpace.

Hi was just wondering if i could get a figure on how manny peddo’s are caught each year through my-space. I am doing a report on the social implications of Social networking. Was hopen to add a nice solid fact. if any one could give me a figure, i would apreciate it.

I feel sorry for his family. I mean everything they believed their husband/father/brother/son was is discredited now. I am praying for them because they are his victims as well.

And Benjamin if you ever read this… You have a beautiful family. Why F*ck it all up for a child?? You need help.
