Ohio teen torturers
Over at the most depressing site in the world, News of Doom, I posted a story about an 18-year-old girl from Ohio that was recovering from brain surgery. Two teens broke into her home and hit her in the head with a baseball bat among other atrocities.
The article I cited didn’t give the suspects’ names but thanks to reader Squeaky I not only have their names but I also have the MySpaces of 17-year-old Cheyenne Blanton, and 16-year-old Joseph Nagle.
Besides the girl who was assaulted the real victim in all of this is the baby of these criminals. I feel sorry for him that his parents are such useless members of society.

well i hope whoever did it gets punished to the fullest extent. I know a 2 girls who where beat with a hammer, one died, the other was severely disabled…and the person that did was a neighbor who was mad because he got turned down by one of them. he just sneaked into the house one night through a basement window when they were asleep.

Wow. The death penalty seems too good for those two.
The first MySpace link you posted is broken. In the second one, the kid says “books are gay” under his favorite book section. Why am I not surprised such a scumbag doesn’t enjoy reading?

Torturer is an apt title. Sounds like they sustained the assault and torment over a period of time.
This scares the crap out of me. Torturers are supposed to take protracted programming to make. Even for sociopaths, even in a group, this is young. It seems to me that some kids are actively cultivating a mindset that is supposed to be a horrible mutation/accident.

Paulo, it should also be pointed out that Nagle’s MS handle is “rehabsux513″…yeah, addicts who get girls knocked up and commit senseless crimes don’t typically enjoy anything that requires them to actually use their brain.

If you look up the details to this story it might repulse you like few other stories. I just know these two juvenile dirt bags aren’t going to get the death penalty because of their age. Justice isn’t going to be served in this case. The most you could give these two would be too lenient and even that will probably never happen.

Ya know i know joe nagle very well. He’s not a monster. He’s a sweet guy. So yeah he was in rehab but not for drugs. He was having a rough time with other problems so he got help for them. He doesnt deserve the death penalty either. people make mistakes. and by the way… the brain surgery she has was to fix epilepsy. the police blew her story out of what it really is. she wasnt stupid, she had a learning disablity.. and joe didnt just knock cheyenne up they were dating for two years. you people have no right to talk about them and what they deserve cause you dont know nothing but what your told. Why do you think you have the right to judge them?! so just back off.

Oh and by the way that baby that has “useless” parents is well taken care of. Again Not Knowing ANYTHING about what your talking about. You people that judge them are wrong. Yes they did wrong but they dont deserve to die for it!!! and he is a baby, why even bring him into this! That baby doesnt need your sympathy he has a good family that takes such good care of him and love him. Your wrong for judging them.

Im sure he has a reason, nothing will excuse this happening, but still i know joe better than any of you ever could, sure he’s a bit of a punk. but what kid isnt these days? he isnt a bad person no matter what happend. and honestly how do you know he did it?? like there was 2 other people involved and no one knoes the full story but them, so dont go blaming them for shit that know one really knows about.

Kate, I’m sure that Ebert and Roeper don’t personally know half the actors who star in the films they review every week, do you also think that gives them no right to judge anyone either? As John Stossel would say, “Give me a break!”.

ya i was locked up wit joe an he was actually in there for this crime an i talked ta him alot he even had a cell right next ta mine an he said one night and i quote, “yea i really messed up man i dont want off easy because look what i did dude i poured spaghetti on her and made her roll in the snow naked, i jus need to do my time man i feel really bad but i had my reasons” thats remembering it to the best of my knowledge an i knew him from school an he was real cool we used ta get high an everything but i never knew he was capable of this. i was shocked.
