Buddhists Monks Gone Wild
Thai monks told to behave on networking Web sites:
Who would have thought that some Buddhist Monks from Thailand are a veritable criminal organization on the social network site Hi5?
Thai officials are calling on the monks to avoid using the site after a reported rape took place where a monk used Hi5 to lure a woman to his temple and raped her.
A senior Culture Ministry official said monks should not be banned from the cyberspace, but should turn this “crisis” into “opportunity” by bringing Buddha’s teaching to the young.
“Instead of using the Net to flirt with young girls, monks should find ways to preach Dharma and lead them in the right direction,” said Ladda Thangsupachai, head of the Cultural Surveillance Centre.
This is right up there with the stories about Amish kids being arrested for using meth.

You can’t trust anybody anymore. Not even monks. Some people deserve to be decapitated at the lower jaw. Never thought I’d say that about a monk.
