Man faces trial over Facebook harassment:
In England 33-year-old Michael Hurst will be the first man in the UK to be tried for harassment over Facebook.
I don’t see what the big deal is.
A spokesman for the Crown Prosecution Service said: “We have prosecuted alleged harassment cases before where people have sent letters, made phone calls and even text messages in recent years, but to my knowledge this is the first case where a website like Facebook has been involved.
I don’t see why this case should be treated any different than the other types of cases that were mentioned. Facebook and other social sites are just another form of communication.
Hurst is accused of harassing a former girlfriend through Facebook.
