NY Army recruiter arrested

Army recruiter accused of meeting teens on MySpace:
22-year-old Richard Brenton of the Albany, New York area has been arrested for meeting 16-year-old girls on MySpace and getting them drunk. As much as some guys would like to think there is there is no altruistic reason for a 22-year-old Army recruiter to get two 16-year-olds drunk.

Police are saying that other charges may follow.

    What bothers me is htat this kid (young man) did these actions on his own accord. It dosen’t have anything to do with the Army. So, why is he listed as an Army Recruiter and not as a the person who may have committed the crime. The Army should not have their name dragged through the mud, they did not teach him to act in such a manor.

    Well, it is the same thing when a teacher, preacher, congressman, or any other profession, preys on a child,yes they did those things on their own accord, but just the media likes to try to sensationalize every story, I highly doubt everyone is now going to think ALL the army is a bunch of pedaphile just like I dont think every teacher that gets caught up in the same thing is a bunch of pervs, now the Navy….. ha just kidding.
