Moroccan Facebook fake freed
Moroccan king pardons man convicted of usurping prince’s identity on Facebook:
I’ve posted about Fouad Mourtada before. He was the 26-year-old from Morroco who was imprisoned for making a fake Facebook profile of a Moroccan prince.
Luckily Morocco’s King Mohammed has pardoned Mourtada along with 565 other pardons.
The official says the pardon is one of 566 announced by the king as part of a tradition of granting pardons on the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed.
Regradless of how it came about Fuad Mourtada is now out of jail.
