TX teen arrested for MySpace threat
Student Arrested for Threats Made on MySpace:
Police in Sherman, Texas arrested a 15-year-old boy from Sherman High School for posting a threat on his MySpace. The police searched his house and found nothing. In my opinion police acted correctly because you know the one time that a threat like this is not taken seriously is when it comes true.
However I have a bone to pick with a quote from the article…
MySpace has been criticized because kids can actually set up a page a post lots of personal information, and then anyone can access that information. Police say teens are at an age where they trust people, and now with the internet a parent not only has to know where there kids are, they also have to know what they’re doing online.
God forbid a parent should do their freakin’ job. Obviously there’s at least one in Sherman, Texas that didn’t.

Police say detectives searched the boys room for weapons, and found nothing.
I’m goin out on a limb here, but I have a funny feeling that it’s the first time anyone’s searched that room. Or at least looked in it.
It’s a good thing I don’t have kids yet. They’d just be running rampant, doing all kinds of crazy things - and there’d be nothing I could do about it!
