Police Officer Justin Varkony of the Oviedo, Florida Police Department has been suspended for something he posted on his MySpace. While he’s not the first police officxer to get suspended for it I think it’s ridiculous why he got suspended. On his MySpace he posted the following…
“Jason is a super-trained killer ninja fighter of the night who has not had a chance to use this special skill yet.”
Seriously? You have got to be kidding me. According to the article Varkony has been the subject of internal investigations 22 times but this is what he gets suspended for? Do people really think he’s a ninja or something? This is just stupid.
Again I remind police officers and other public servants that nothing on the internet is private.

I believe if you are going to write about someone that you should atleast get the person’s name correct! It is noticed that the name written was jason…if I am correct I do believe the individuals name was justin!

Another reporter investigated the story a little more kinda gives you an idea about the politics in oviedo. Sounds like the Officer is being treated unfair. Read the article its kinda long.
