Canadian serial killer on MySpace?
Clifford Olson web page shocks victims’ kin, officials:
There is a MySpace controversy going on in Canada right now. There was a MySpace that allegedly belonged to convicted serial child killer Clifford Olson.
Clifford Olson, who terrorized the Lower Mainland in the early 1980s, is more than 25 years into a life sentence for killing 11 young boys and girls.
A lot of people are thinking the MySpace was legit because of photos taken from inside the prison. The MySpace saddened and angered families of the victims.
However I think people are overlooking something obvious. In my opinion it’s probably a fake. First of all the MySpace was reported to have other ’serial killers’ as his MySpace friends such as Charles Manson. I don’t think Charlie has ever been allowed to be in the same room as a computer. He also has imaginary people listed as friends too like Santa Claus.
As far as the prison pictures go a commenter in the original article said he was able to find them no problem on MySpace.
As much of a sick bastard Olson obviously is I think this is nothing more than the work of a ‘fan’. Over at TheTrenchcoat Chronicles I refer to people who idolize school shooters as mutants. I think the Olson MySpace was the work of a mutant who idolizes serial killers or someone who did it just to get a reaction.
Remember the age old axiom. Just because it’s on the internet doesn’t make it true.
The profile in question has been removed at the request of Canadian authorities.

I read it this morning, that the myspace profile has been taken down. I don’t know if the myspace page was real or not, but I do know that this has upset a lot of people in the Vancouver area.
I seriously doubt that the people of British Columbia will ever get over the tragedy caused by Olson - but they certainly don’t need another slap in the face, regarding this monster.
Olson will never leave prison. But to even consider the fact that he could be harming others (especially children) through another means - makes me violently ill.
