Boy, 13, ‘hanged himself after he was bullied on Bebo’:
In case you needed another reason to check up on your kids’ internet habits comes this story out of England.
13-year-old Sam Leeson was harassed over the social network site Bebo because of the way he dressed and his choice of music. He hanged himself and his family had no clue as to what was going on in his life.
The grieving mother blamed Bebo for Sam’s ‘utterly pointless death’ as she revealed how the family only discovered the extent of the bullying after checking his webpage following the tragedy.
I’m not blaming the family. The only people responsible are the ignorant twits who harassed him. However had the family checked in on his Bebo they might have prevented a tragedy.
