22-year-old Matthew Aiudi of Connecticut was sentenced to one year suspended for creating a fake MySpace that harassed a female friend of his brother.

Aiudi posted a fake page purported to be hers, announcing on the page that the woman was interested in casual sex with strangers, especially older men.

So you can imagine the hilarity that did ensue from it.

Aiudi has also been restricted from computer usage unless it’s for work or school and is only able to reply to emails from family members only.

It was only a matter of time before twitter became corrupted too.

If some random hot chick starts following you on twitter there’s a good chance it could not only be spam but also a trick to get you download a cubic ass ton of spyware.

Usually they’ll only have one post directing you to a link. If you click the link your computer will explode killing you and everyone in your house. Ok, I made that part up. But it will download a bunch of trojans to your computer and I don’t mean the condoms.

Remember Uncle Trench’s sage advice the hot girl on (insert name of webiste here) doesn’t really want you.

Some of you may remember the “Megan Had it Coming” blog that was supposed to have been written by Lori Drew. As it turned out it was a complete hoax. The funny thing is that the man behind the site was once lauded by this very site.

Jason Fortuny was praised by me for conducting what was called the Craigslist Experiment.

Posing as a woman looking for sex, Fortuny snared 170 men through a fake Craigslist ad, then publicly released the men’s names, e-mails and other personal information.

I actually thought that was clever and funny, MHIC not so much.

Fortuny prides himself on being an internet troll if not the internet troll. As much as I thought MHIC was uncalled for I have to give him credit. He pulled the wool over a lot of people’s eyes. It made me shake my head that so many people fell for an obvious hoax. All I have to say to that is, well played sir.

Trolling sometimes comes with a price as Mr. Fortuny is being sued for his craigslist experiment.

If you’re one of those people who thinks that sentencing in the U.S. is overkill when it comes to minor crimes check out this story from New Zealand.

A 19-year-old girl could be sentenced to 7 years behind bars for ‘hacking’ into a 16-year-old girl’s Bebo and Hotmail accounts. And by hacking they probably mean she got her password from somebody who knew it.

A woman was charged after police made inquiries with the internet service provider. Section 250 of the Crimes Act prohibits intentionally or recklessly damaging a computer system or accessing a computer without authorisation.

Police national e-crime manager Maarten Kleintjes said people who accessed others’ internet accounts often did not realise they were committing a crime.

“But ignorance is no excuse.”

Kids in the U.S. who plot school shootings get less time than this. I think this is all a little ridiculous over some teen girl drama.

23-year-old Nate Rinken of Sioux Falls, South Dakota is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl that he met on MySpace.

According to court papers, the 15-year-old victim says in the months after meeting Rinken online, she met up with him in person three or four times. The last meeting, in May, began with Rinken picking her up from work and taking her back to his house .

While talking in his bedroom, she says Rinken starting kissing her. She pulled away and told him to stop. She says he pulled her clothes off and began to rape her as she shook her head and said “no.”

According to police Hinken admits having sex with the girl. Age of consent in SD is 16.

Now I know we’re going to hear the usual excuses. “What kind of girl is she?” “Where were her parents?” etc. To you I say this. If a 23-year-old guy wants to stay out of trouble he shouldn’t metting with 15-year-old he met online.

The idea was given to me by long time reader bootyj. The majority of the crimes documented on this site are unfortunately sex related crimes. In almost every post I make in regards to an accused sex offender someone almost inevitably comes forward to defend the sex offender even though it most cases they are convicted.

So thanks to bootyj I now present to you the Sex-Offender Defender awards otherwise known as the S.O.D.

The way it’s awarded is by time. There will be a list of 20 of those defenders in the Pages section that you’ll find on the right hand side of this site. The quicker someone is in defending a sex offender the higher they’ll be ranked.

In case you haven’t figured it out this is not an award to be proud of.

You may remember a site I briefly had called Vice Tube. It was supposed to be the YouTube version of MyCrimeSpace but it never took off. One of the posts I made at Vice Tube was about a guy who called himself Trashman.

He made videos claiming that he infected multiple women with HIV and that he was in the process of poisoning Gerber’s baby food in order to kill thousands of baby’s.

At the time of that post I said that he was a fraud and it turns out I was right.

Yesterday Trashman, aka 42-year-old Anton Dunn of Harlem, was arrested yesterday on federal felony charges of threatening to tamper with food. Gerber executives say that there was never any danger of their supply being tainted.

If only all attention whores could be charged with federal felony charges.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett is in the process of possibly cracking down on 185 Pa. sex offenders that are on MySpace.

What is AG Corbett doing differently than most pf the AG’s I’ve written about? He’s not grandstanding and he’s not putting the blame to MySpace to garner votes. (Unlike AG’s Blumenthal, Cuomo, and Cooper.)

“So we were were able to discover who they were - at least MySpace was. Our concern is that there’s other people who are registered sex offenders that probably have MySpace accounts that there’s no way if they use an alias that we’re going to discover.”

Wow, he even addresses the issue of sex offenders using aliases on MySpace and he does it realistically.

Once the records from MySpace have been reviewed the AG’s office will be forwarding the information to the sex offenders’ parole officers.

Other AG’s should take note that this is how to get things done instead of pandering to clueless soccer moms.

15-year-old Andrea Haskins of Lancaster, Wisc. was arrested for shooting a 17-year-old girl after threatening her on MySpace.

A criminal complaint charging Haskins in adult court with attempted first-degree homicide says she told Amanda Knoble on MySpace that she would shoot her if she came over to her house.

When Knoble drove near her home Tuesday with two other girls, police say Haskins came out of her house with a rifle and shot Knoble in the lower leg.

And the decline of civilization continues unabated.

The search for Ray Gagnon’s computer continues. Gagnon is the ex-stepfather of Brooke Bennett and instructed a friend of his to dispose of his computer at the time of Brooke’s disappearance.

Originally investigators believed that it was it a San Antonio landfill since that where Gagnon lives. However they were unable to find the computer in the landfill. Now they’re posting fliers in Gagnon’s neighborhood hoping that someone picked it up out of the trash.

The computer allegedly contains a vast amount of child porn and could possibly contain evidence regarding Brooke’s disappearance.

19-year-old Michael Williams of Pennsburg, Pennsylvania was arrested in Margate, NJ over this past weekend for trying to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex.

Williams had met the 13-year-old girl over MySpace and prior to his arrest had sex with the girl. The girl’s mother found out and notified local police. Police then posed as the 13-year-old and arranged for Williams to meet the ‘girl’ at a Wawa (convenience store) parking lot where he was promptly arrested.

Two girls from Dekalb County, Georgia, ages 14 and 6 disappeared from their father’s home on Saturday night. They had messaged their family through MySpace say that they had been abducted. Luckily that story was a lie and they were found safe at a friend’s house the next day. They may have been mad that they were told by an older sibling not to leave the house.

No charges were filed but if I were their dad after I hugged them for being safe they would be on the receiving end of the biggest can of whupass ever made.

Another vandal that claims to be an artist has been busted by way of YouTube. This time it’s 31-year-old Jason Williams aka ‘Revok’. Who the hell still considers himself a tagger at the age of 31?

He would go around vandalizing public and private property around the Coachella Music and Arts Festival for the past three years.

Williams would promote his vandalism on YouTube and even more sad is this quote…

Williams apparently had corporate sponsors who backed his efforts as cutting-edge artistic expression, Guitron said.

If you want to do this on a canvas or on your own property or a commissioned work then you can call it art. Anyplace else it’s just a stain on society.

Grow up and get a real job.

22-year-old Angel Eduardo Leyva of Sparks, Nevada was arrested on charges of child porn and and child sex abuse.

Leyva is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl he met over MySpace and is also accused of threatening other underage girls to send him nude pics of themselves.

Not surprisingly Leyva is unemployed and lives with his father. What a shock.

Another one of the Washington state teen rapists has been sentenced and this one actually has to do some time.

The article doesn’t mention his name since he’s only 17 but if you go here you can probably figure it out.

Anyway, the teen rapist was sentenced to be held in a juvenile facility until his 21st birthday for the rape that him and three of his friends committed on a 16-year-old girl they met over MySpace.

Here’s something that I did not know about the victim. She had become pregnant through the rape and had an abortion because of it. Just one more reason why these little punks should have been charged as adults.

This suspect was allegedly sorry for what happened…

“I just want to say I’m sorry,” the youth sobbed. “I’m really sorry for what happened.”

However the judge didn’t buy it at all…

But Hayden said that what “struck me the hardest” was a section of a presentence report in which the boy was quoted as calling the girl a liar for accusing him of rape. Other presentence documents indicated the boy denied responsibility for the attack, was not amenable to treatment and showed no concern for the girl.

The suspect’s mother, who doesn’t speak a lick of English, said this is not the case and was planning on taking responsibility by marrying the girl and was upset over the fact that she got an abortion because it’s against his religion. Which of course the judge responded by saying “And rape isn’t?”

As usual it sounds like to me the suspect was more sorry for being caught than anything.
